Snowtown School Based Preschool
Starting Kindergarten is a big step on a child’s life. It is often the first step outside the home and family environment and they need to get to know and come to feel secure in the care of new adults.
They also need to become part of a group including making friends, sharing toys and ideas, coping with frustrations, finding out and remembering where things are and learning rules.

At Snowtown Kindergarten our staff work with you and your child to make sure that a successful settling in period will help result in a happy, confident child who is eager for new experiences and learning.
The National Quality Standards (NQS) promotes continuous improvement. Children’s education and care services covered under the Education and Care Services National Law are assessed and rated against the NQS. Ratings promote transparency and accountability and help parents assess the quality of education and care services available. Every service receives a rating for each quality area and an overall rating. Snowtown Kindergarten has received an overall rating of“EXCEEDING” the NQS.
